| Pastor Pastor Mack Painter began his ministry at St. John’s New Mission in October of 2002. His ministry at SJNM is centered around worship and preaching, pastoral care, and teaching. Prior to his ministry at SJNM, he served as a United States Air Force Chaplain for more than twenty years. Mack graduated from Catawba College, Lancaster Theological Seminary, and Columbia Theological Seminary. | Daycare Director Yvonne Isley is a 1997 graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences; concentration in Child Development and Family Studies. She also has her administrator's license and Birth thru Kindergarden Licensure from the state of North Carolina. She has been working in child care for the past 15 years in a variety of settings, holding positions such as: lead teacher, education specialist, assistant center director, center director and residential treatment counselor. Yvonne joined the team at St. John's New Mission Daycare in July 2007. Our purpose here at St. John's New Mission Daycare is to meet the wide range of spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of each child within the framework of a protective and loving environment. We are looking forward to working with all that believe in making a positive difference in the lives of children. | Choir Director Linda Patterson joined the staff at St. John’s New Mission in 1989 as the Children’s Choir Director and in 1990 also became the Adult Choir Director. Linda has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Elon University. Linda also has an Associate in Applied Science degree in Microcomputer Systems Technology from Alamance Community College. Linda also works at Laboratory Corporation of America. She enjoys cross-stitching and singing in the Alamance Chorale. |
